Director of Marketing

Black Duck Partners, a holding company operating several different companies our largest being a franchisee of over 130 Planet Fitness locations, is looking to add a Director of Marketing to our team at our Support Center in Neenah, WI.

The Director of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, member engagement, and revenue growth for both the Planet Fitness franchisee locations and other companies currently including Twin Pillars and UFX. This role requires a creative and analytical leader who can manage diverse marketing programs, lead a talented team, and collaborate with cross-functional departments to achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategy Development: Develop and implement a multi-channel marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s objectives and enhances overall brand identity. - Market Research: Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities; leverage insights to inform decision-making. - Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns, ensuring they are on-brand, on-budget, and deliver measurable results. - Digital Marketing: Drive digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing, to increase online visibility and engagement. - Brand Management: Ensure consistent and compelling messaging across all channels and touchpoints, aligned with the company's brand identity. - Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor KPIs to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives; report on results to key stakeholders and adjust strategies accordingly. - Collaboration:  Work closely with corporate, operations and club level staff to ensure alignment in messaging and strategy, and to support overall business objectives. - Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize ROI.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field - 5+ years of experience in marketing with progressive leadership roles. - Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies - Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, analytics tools, and best practices. - Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making. - Creative thinker with the ability to drive innovative marketing solutions. - Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM software.
